We invite renowned speakers to talk about their personal experiences with developing digital products. Last year´s speakers included CXOs from Trivago, Project A Ventures, Outfittery and Blinkist. For unicon 2019, we have convinced amazing entrepreneurs to join us.

Workshops

To enable close contact to industry leaders with high credibility and many years of experience as well as hands on deep dives, we will organise several masterclasses and workshops about specific topics regarding digital product development.

Challenge

In oder to combine the diverse skills of our attendees, we will organize a group challenge in which they collaborate for four hours in small teams to come up with a concept of a technical solution for a specific problem. Each group consists of software engineers, product managers and interaction designers.

Scott Chacon

Co-Founder, GitHub & Chatterbug
Scott and three peers joined forces to found GitHub, now the world's leading software development platform. He scaled GitHub from 4 to 400 people as their CIO until he left in 2016 to start working on his new project, Chatterbug. Chatterbug is a language learning app which combines the flexibility of digital language apps with the effectiveness of in-person language schools.

Co-Founder & CEO, outfittery
Julia is the co-founder & CEO of OUTFITTERY. OUTFITTERYs mission is to take the pain out of shopping for men – as an online version of the “personal shopping”. Outfittery was founded in 2012 and has scaled to about 300 employees. Before founding OUTFITTERY, Julia was Zalando´s Head of International Business Development after she graduated from LMU in Munich.

Managing Director, movinga
Finn Age Hänsel, joined Movinga in November 2015 as a managing director and leads the product, technology and marketing team.. Following a 4-year engagement at BCG, he joined Rocket Internet in Australia from 2011 to 2013, as a managing director. He founded the Berliner Berg brewery and became a Business Angel for multiple Berlin start-ups including CrossEngage, SMACC and Einhorn.
Vedrana Tozija

Vedrana Tozija

Software Engineer, Adeva IT
Vedrana is a Software Engineer, passionate about web and great user experiences. She first learned about Progressive Web Apps in 2016, during her work on an e-commerce platform for TNT Media & Network CO in Thailand and it changed her views of the web. Vedrana advocates about PWAs and mobile-first experiences that benefit both the users and the businesses behind the apps. She is a remote work enthusiast and regularly volunteers at local developers communities, mentors and contributes to open source.
Lukasz Gadowski

Lukasz Gadowski

Co-Founder, Delivery Hero
While still graduating university, Lukasz founded Spreadshirt, which has grown to several hundred employees. Since that time, he is one of Germanys most active serial founders. He co-founded Delivery Hero, founded Spreadshirt, co-founded the company builder Team Europe, co-founded and advised at Point Nine Capital and was an early investor of Volocopter.
Sebastian Schleicher

Dir. of Engineering, blinkist
Sebastian is the director of engineering of blinkist. blinkist develops an app, used by millions of people, that summarizes key takeaways from the world’s best nonfiction books in text and audio. blinkist was founded in 2012 and employs over 100 people in their office in Berlin. Sebastian was one of blinkist earliest employees and before taking over his role at blinkist, he graduated from the Otto Friedrich University in Bamberg.
